As an REC validated member we work above industry standards when it comes to our recruitment practice. All candidates who apply to join the Healthcare Direct workforce are subject to following:
A face to face interview with skills assessment
Full employment history submitted and recorded
Right to work recorded and verified
Fitness to work declared
Two work related references obtained and verified
Care certificate training completed or verified
Shadow shifts completed for staff new to care
Registration checks completed with appropriate bodies
Issued with Healthcare Directs’ code of conduct
Issued with an ID badge, timesheets and uniform
